The animations are smooth, most can be dash canceled which makes it easy to dodge. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3. While a few do have support roles built in, even they can be taken through the game’s main content alone. But not all classes are built equally well for solo play. In Lost Ark, when you play for the first time, you have to do a 'tutorial' 1-10 levels. After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. On top of that, when you skip tutorial, you get into a zone where you test a class with a lot of skills unlocked. Therefore in aspects alone, I would rather play the Deadeye, but I am not a fan of the shotgun, hug the boss playstyle. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties. As far as I can tell, that’s less of an issue here since there is no real holy trinity.

Reaper is the most fun class by far. Nothing even comes close. Being fastest but squishiest class provides most adrenaline. Also most stylish animations. And intense gameplay with constant repositioning, that's the best part.The Space Bar is faster, the skill animations arent nearly as clunky. I'm still having fun playing the Arti, but you can definitely feel the difference, lol. I was gonna make a blade next. I got one, level 37 i think or something, but compared to my sorcerer, i don't know, feels less "fun". Blue gunlancer! For me, Destroyer and Eso striker, and planning on making EO soulfist or gunlancer to see who I enjoy the most.
