My son was #3 out of 650 in his class, also took 8 AP courses by his junior year, his WGPA is 4.5, and his best SAT score is 1520. My son is also student athlete, team captain, interships, president of math club and tons of community service hours... He didn't get Regents Scholarship, just bacuse he's NOT first Gen and he's from high income family.
